Holkian Straight

    Created by the wizard Holkas driving a peninsula asunder to provide ships with safe passage through a land that otherwise would have taken months to circumvent. The Holkian Straight has since been subjected to the rule of many nations. Currently, the grip of a far-away kingdom has been slowly slipping, where once they dominated the sea, domestic issues have weakened the foreign power’s hold.

    Pirates hiding in the many islands of the area have been growing more united, mounting a fierce resistance. Echoes of dead civilizations have grown stronger, unleashing chaos that grows harder to contain. The fracturing of the Holkian Straight presents a danger to those unprepared, but for some, it represents the opportunity for wealth and glory.

Which will you be?

Holkian Straight is a hexcrawl adventure designed for use with the Shadowdark system. It serves as a frameworks for Game Masters to add in their own details as they wish, and evolve the world to react to their player's actions.
