Observatory of Living Stars

High atop the peak of a mountain a wizard built an observatory so that they could study the celestial bodies rotating above. Over time, the wizard grew more and more secluded from the village at the base of the mountain, soon never emerging from their abode. Rumours of nefarious experiments and kidnapped townsfolk circulated, but no villagers were brave enough to approach the observatory. Eventually it was assumed that the wizard had perished, leaving behind untold riches and a wealth of information.

This dungeon was designed to be compatible with Shadowdark RPG. It is set up for 4-5 adventurers of 1st to 3rd level. A copy of the Shadowdark RPG is required to run the dungeon you can find that here: https://www.thearcanelibrary.com/pages/shadowdark

This dungeon was created as part of the Spooky Starry Spring TTRPG Jam. I had been wanting to make a zodiac themed dungeon for some time and the timing of this jam and release of Shadowdark coinciding worked out perfectly as creative inspiration.
